How to cook salmon fillets on the grill. Any simple recipes ?

I bought a package of salmon fillets at Walmart last nite just to try them while I am on weight watchers. The problem is I have never grilled salmon. I dont know what to put on it and I dont know how long to cook it on the grill. The fillets are about 4 or 5 inches long and about 3 inches wide. They were in the frozen food section. Im not sure if that helps or not. Do you have any easy salmon recipe's?How to cook salmon fillets on the grill. Any simple recipes ?
Just had salmon grilled last night.

Thaw them out, let them soak in some orange juice for about 15 minutes.

Sea Salt and pepper them. Coat them in a bit of olive oil and roll them in a bit a rosemary. Let them sit for a few minutes.

Before grilling, coat the grill with lots of oil. Use a rag and oil, maybe some PAM for grilling. You dont' want the fish to stick.

put them on the grill, sear the skin side (if there is skin). Medium, to low heat. 5-7 minutes, flip them over. Another 5-10 minutes, they should be done. No need to filp them a bunch of times. You can use a knife or a fork to split them a bit to see if their cooked on the inside. You dont' want to overcook fish.

I buy the same kind, too. They are good grilled or baked or poached. When you grill them, be sure to wait until the coals are completely grey (if using charcoal) or grill on low/indirect heat (if using gas).

Grilled Marinated Salmon

4 cloves garlic, minced

鈪?cup white wine

录 cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon poultry seasoning

录 teaspoon salt

鈪?teaspoon pepper

4 salmon fillets

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

4 lemon wedges

In a glass baking dish, combine first 8 ingredients, mix just to blend. Place salmon into marinade, refrigerate 1 hour, turning frequently.

Prepare outdoor grill, lightly oil the grate.

Grill salmon fillets for 5 - 6 minutes per side. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
If you want to cook them on an open grill use foil. Two layer of foil and make a pan out of the foil by folding up the sides. Season the fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder and some italian seasoning. Lay sliced of lemon on the top and place on the grill. This will take about 15 minutes to cook. You want the fish to be opaque in the middle. Let rest, covered in foil for 6 - 7 minutes before serving.
Hey! That is what I buy from there too. Comes 4 to a package huh?

I HATE sweet grilled salmon, just me don't know why.

Put your grill on medium heat. You can place foil on the grate if you want (and maybe should since you have never grilled it).

Anyhow it only takes 8 to 10 minutes to cook (when it flakes with a fork it's done). Turning once during cooking.

I only put like Cajun seasonings OR lemon pepper and salt. You can slice lemons in half and drizzle it over it (tastes even better).

Parsley is also good, thyme, garlic, just whateever you like.
You can use any seasoning that you like and put a bit of olive oil to make it as a glaze. I like to cook it on foil, cause it will fall into pieces once cooked. About 4-5 minutes on each side. Fish cooks fast. The way I like my salmon is I make a marinade of soy sauce and honey and put a little bit of onion and garlic powder and then glaze it while cooking and one more coat before serving.
After they are thawed season them with some salt and pepper maybe a squeeze of fresh lemon it you like. Before you cook them make sure the fire is set low.If this needs to be more simple, light the fire and let lit bunn in a heap untill the flame is low as you dont need much fire.

Before you put the fish on the grill, oil it with some pam cooking spray and begin to grill. Cook each side for about ten min.Make sure its not leaking white fluid that's how you tell it's done
Marinate in Italian dressing for about 4 hours, drain and pat dry.

Place on greased grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on how hot your grill is. Only turn once to prevent from falling apart.

I just put them on tin foil w/ a little olive oil. Let them thaw %26amp; they are done when they flake w/a fork
This is the best salmon recipe I have. I love it because you cook it on the grill in the summer, but use the oven in the winter. Now the recipe calls for a cedar plank - but I often use a baking sheet with foil on it instead for the grill and a 9x13 baking pan. It calls for using mashed potatoes, but you can use rice, quinoa, cous cous - what ever.

Cedar Planked Salmon with Maple Glaze

1 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons finely grated peeled fresh gingerroot

4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic

an untreated cedar plank (about 17 by 10 1/2 inches) if desired

a 2 1/2-pound center-cut salmon fillet with skin

greens from 1 bunch scallions

In a small heavy saucepan simmer maple syrup, gingerroot, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste until reduced to about 1 cup, about 30 minutes, and let cool. (Maple glaze may be made 2 days ahead and chilled, covered. Bring maple glaze to room temperature before proceeding.)

Preheat oven to 350掳 F. If using cedar plank, lightly oil and heat in middle of oven 15 minutes; or lightly oil a shallow baking pan large enough to hold salmon.

Arrange scallion greens in one layer on plank or in baking pan to form a bed for fish.

In another small saucepan heat half of glaze over low heat until heated through to use as a sauce. Stir in remaining tablespoon lemon juice. Remove pan from heat and keep sauce warm, covered.

Put salmon, skin side down, on scallion greens and brush with remaining glaze. Season salmon with salt and pepper and roast in middle of oven until just cooked through, about 20 minutes if using baking pan or about 35 if using plank.

Cut salmon crosswise into 6 pieces. On each of 6 plates arrange salmon and scallion greens on a bed of mashed potatoes. Drizzle salmon with warm sauce.
