Chicken Breast/Salmon or Tilapia Recipes.?

Ok I am teaching myself to cook. I need it to be healthy so I bought Chicken breasts, Salmon %26amp; Tilapia yesterday. And now I have no idea what to do...any advice on how to prepare any or all of these in a healthy/somewhat easy way???Chicken Breast/Salmon or Tilapia Recipes.?

Ingredients


2 Tbsp sugar


1 tsp pepper


陆 c soy sauce


陆 c white vinegar


1 Tbsp heaping minced garlic


4 boneless chicken breasts





Mix first 4 ingredients well, put into frying pan. Heat well, and add chicken breasts. Cover and cook until no longer pink (approximately 20-25 minutes). Meanwhile, prepare Minute Rice as directed on package. Pour sauce from chicken over rice and serve. ENJOY!

roasted chicken pita pockets:


2 honey-roasted skinless, boneless chicken breast halves


1 white pita bread


2 cups shredded lettuce


1 large onion, chopped


1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


1/2 cup mayonnaise


1/2 cup ketchup


1/2 cup chili sauce


1 dash hot pepper sauce


1 teaspoon lemon juice


1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper


Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).


Heat pita breads in preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until slightly browned.


Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the chicken, lettuce, onion, cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup, chili sauce, hot pepper sauce, lemon juice and ground black pepper. Mix well. (Note: If making this for kids, you may want to exclude chili sauce and hot pepper sauce.)


Slice hot pita breads around the edges to form pockets; fill bread pockets with chicken mixture. Serve hot. superb taste.





lemon herb fish packages:


4 Tilapia fillets (450g) or other white fish


4 tbsp Seasoned Dressing


4 Lemon wedges


Preheat oven to 350藲F.


Prepare dressing as per recipe.


Cut 4 pieces of foil large enough to wrap each fillet of fish.


Place a fi llet in the middle of each piece of foil.


Spread one 1 tbsp of dressing over each fillet and wrap foil to


completely cover the fish. Make sure that edges are pointed upward


to prevent moisture from leaking out of foil during cooking.


Place the packages of fish on a baking sheet and bake for


approximately 15 minutes or until fish is completely cooked.


It should be opaque and the flesh should flake easily with a fork.


Squeeze 1 wedge of lemon over each fillet of fish prior to serving.


seasoned salad dressing:


2 tbsp Olive oil


2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar


1 tsp Garlic, crushed


1 tsp Basil leaves


陆 tsp Oregano, ground


Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk.

You can use these with Chicken, Salmon, OR Tilapia by adjusting the cooking times. For chicken, it's 40 minutes. Salmon, 30 minutes. Tilapia, 15-20 minutes.


Put the meat into a dish, toss in some marsala wine, a can of mushrooms, bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Chicken Marsala--no problem. OR into a baking dish, top with a pineapple slice, and dump on a little Teriyaki sauce. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Chicken Teriyaki--no problem. OR into a baking dish, pour on this mixture: 1/4 cup apple juice, 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp of cider vinegar. 40 minutes at 350. Bourbon Chicken--no problem. OR you could always do the Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup on top of the chicken breasts--350 fur 40 minutes. That's TOO easy.
