What is your best healthy salmon recipe?

i will try out each one, then pick the one i like the most. (having salmon for dinner the next 6 days)What is your best healthy salmon recipe?
Broiled with cajun spices. No extra fat. Salmon is fatty enough. But be sure the fish is FRESH.

Another good technique is teriyaki ginger marinade. It just needs a half hour in the marinade and then broil it.What is your best healthy salmon recipe?
i forgot to pick a best answer, but my vote was the second vote, i used jerk cajun spices, it was really good Report Abuse

the simplest: I put it in a pan with a bit of olive oil and oregon, s%26amp;p... put it in hot oven until it gets golden...you don't need to add liquids as salmon has lots of fat that will keep it moisty...when you take it out add lemon juice or a bit of orange juice if you like...I may add some potatoes or have some green salad with it...enjoy!!!
I make a really good vegetable stock - with fresh vegetables and herbs - (you can also use good stock cubes but I prefer to make my own). Take out the veggies when it is ready and then bring the liquid to the boil - and the pop in the fresh salmon and just bring it back to the boil and then turn off the heat. The salmon will cook as the water cools down but it will not dry out. It is ready when the water has cooled down to luke warm - so that the fish is just 'off cold' This can be done with salmon fillet or salmon steaks. Enjoy!
You just can't beat Cedar Planked Salmon

24x8x1 inch untreated cedar plank ( some grocery stores, William Sonoma or even the lumber yard- just make sure it is untreated)

6 (4 ounce) fillets salmon

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 large red onion, chopped

1 lemon, sliced

1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns, crushed

Submerge untreated cedar plank in water. Soak approximately 12 hours, or overnight.

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Place prepared plank on the grill, and sprinkle with coarse salt. Cover grill and heat plank 2 to 3 minutes, until dry. Adjust grill temperature for medium heat.

Rub salmon filets with olive oil. Arrange on the plank. Top salmon with red onion, lemon slices and black peppercorns.

Cook salmon, covered, 10 to 12 minutes, or until opaque and easily flaked with a fork.
