Place salmon fillet or steak in a pan that can be used in a hot oven. Mince up a small amount of shallots, squeeze a little lemon on top, add a splash of white wine and a tablespoon of butter, season w/ s%26amp;p. Place under broiler or in very hot oven until cooked most of the way through. Baste top w/ some honey and finish under a broiler. If using an oven you can put honey on top earlier, the honey will crispen to creat a great crusty top! Let me know what you think.
I sometimes buy a really good tomato pasta sauce, pour it over the salmon and bake it in the oven.

I eat it with a baked/or microwaved potato and a salad.

Delicious, healthy and simple.
marinate your salmon in a large freezer bag with soy sauce, maple syrup, minced ginger, liquid smoke flavoring and apple juice. Shake well and marinate anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. Then broil until fish is done(it will flake).

Delicious!!!!

If you barbeque it, try using some smoke chips. Just soak the wood chips(my favorite is applewood) for a while then put them inside a little bowl made of aluminum foil while your coals are getting started. The smoke chips really penetrate the salmon.
put salmon in olive oil and garlic salt in the oven and taaadaaa
Salmon can be mariated in a mixture of honey, lime juice and teriyaki sauce. Then it can be grilled either on an outside grill or in the oven under the broiler. The fillet pieces are best. Grill skin side down then when it is turned over it can be separated and put right on its own skin.Under the broiler, put skin side down and when it is flipped, the skin will burn off.

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp brown mustard (I have also used Dijon to good result)

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp molasses

4 salmon steaks, about 3/4 inch thick

seasoned bread crumbs

1 Tbsp olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the mustard, lemon juice, and molasses together and brush the mixture over the salmon steaks, then dredge the steaks in the bread crumbs.

Set fish on a rack for ten minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.

When hot, cook the steaks for about five minutes per side, until the salmon has browned and flakes easily.

Serves 4.
Beer salmon...make tin-foil tray, coat salmon fillet with brown sugar, red onion, garlic, salt and pepper, pats of butter, and pour beer over it. Cover the tin foil tray with more foil. Really is good. Bake or grill til the fish flakes easily. Found that one on Food Network and my family loves it.
In a baking dish (pyrex), put 2 small pats of butter (margarine..) in the bottom. Wash and pat dry the fish and, on both sides, sprinkle some salt and pepper. Put the fish into the baking dish skin side down and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve with fresh steamed veggies and lemon on the side. Enjoy!
lay out your salmon fillets in a baking dish skinn side down. spread sour cream on them, sprinkle w/ a little dill, cover with sliced lemmons and oranges. cover the whole thing with foil bake at 350 for about 20 minuts it looks great and taste fantastic.
