Salmon recipe?

Can anyone give me any tips for flavors that will work well with salmon.

I've had dill with salmon. I know I've see some maple glaze recipes and terriayki...will dill work well with terrikayki, or maple, or can I use all 3 together?

any other ideas?Salmon recipe?

This link will give you lots of ideas.

The three ideas you mentioned are great but PLEASE! not all together! Those flavours would be dreadful together so separately is fine, but don`t combine any of them.

Yes,

Dill, yellow mustard, and lemon juice,,,it may be a bit strong with the mustard, so cut it down with water (I prefer to use clam juice, It has more flavor than water, of course)

I like to gently fry salmon with just a little salt, for about 3 minutes on the skin side and about 2 minutes on the other.

A light drizzle of malt vinegar makes them perfect.

I think if you use all three, you will loose the taste of the fish itself and just taste the additives.
I suggest:

Lemongrass and Citrus Poached Salmon

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 pounds salmon fillet

1 quart chicken stock

1 quart orange juice

2 cups white wine

1 small yellow onion, chopped

2 tablespoons minced garlic

2 cups chopped lemon grass

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white pepper

DIRECTIONS

Remove skin from salmon, then cut into desired portions.

In a large pot, combine chicken stock, orange juice, white wine, onion, garlic and lemon grass. Season with salt and white pepper. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to a low boil. Place the salmon in the poaching liquid until flaky and tender, about 5 minutes.
I think that the best salmon recipe is to put the salmon in a conventional oven and put black pepper on it. Simple!

You may think it tastes a little plain, but i think it is delicious.
make salmon patties there really good.
